Pocket layout is the vest's main function: separate compartments are planned for a radio, notebook, tape measure, pen and handheld terminal. Models that carry heavy loads need reinforcement at the shoulders and collar.
Where visibility is required the vest becomes a warning vest, and reflective tape placement is calculated against the surface area the relevant standard requires.
The decisive question in choosing a vest is whether you need carrying capacity, visibility, or both. If carrying comes first, pocket volume and shoulder reinforcement matter; if visibility comes first, the fluorescent surface area and band placement are calculated against the standard. If both are needed, pocket flaps must not interrupt the reflective tape, otherwise the garment loses its class.
Summer mesh vests are light but will not carry a pocket load; woven-body models carry tools but are warmer. In most facilities the right answer is two products: a mesh warning vest for hot months and a pocketed woven vest for the rest of the year, produced in the same corporate colour.

What is the difference between a warning vest and an engineer vest?
A warning vest is produced to a visibility standard with a measured fluorescent surface and reflective tape area. An engineer vest is primarily for carrying and corporate identity; where visibility is required, the standard-compliant version should be used.
Can a large logo go on the back of a vest?
Yes, the back is the most requested area. On warning vests, however, printing reduces the fluorescent surface, so size and position are planned to preserve the area the standard requires.
Do you make dedicated pockets for radios and handheld terminals?
Yes. Give us the device dimensions and the pattern is drawn around them; a flap, clip slot and cable exit can be added. This detail stops devices falling and breaking on site.
Is a work vest the same as a warning vest?
No. A work vest is built for carrying and pocket layout; a warning vest provides visibility through fluorescent backing and reflective tape. If both are needed, pocket flaps must not interrupt the tape.
Can pockets be sized to our devices?
