• Is hi-vis mandatory inside a warehouse?

  That depends on the facility's hazard assessment and vehicle traffic. Wherever forklifts and pallet trucks operate, high-visibility upper clothing is strongly recommended.

• Why do warehouse staff wear high-visibility vests?

  Forklift and pallet truck traffic makes pedestrian visibility critical. The operator's field of view is limited, and a high-visibility upper garment is the cheapest effective measure against collision.

• What is worn in a cold store?

  With still, dry air, insulation comes first. A layered set of a wicking base layer, an insulation layer and an outer shell works best, and gloves and footwear need a cold rating too.

• Which footwear suits logistics?

  For staff walking indoors all day, light, flexible protective shoes with a slip-resistant sole; for yard and ramp work, an ankle-supporting boot is the better answer.

• What suits delivery and courier crews?

  A high-visibility, water-repellent outer layer with fleece or softshell underneath by season. Pocket layout is drawn around the handheld terminal so it does not fall and break.

• Where should the logo go on warehouse clothing?

  The back and left chest read best. On high-visibility garments the print must not reduce the fluorescent area below the class requirement and must not sit on the reflective tape.
